Hold the Vision, Trust the Process.

Although things look a bit messy around the Jester Park Nature Center, it has been a busy place this month with constant construction activity! With walls disheveled and wires hanging from the ceiling, it’s easy to lose sight of what the nature center will look like once it is completed. However, interior walls will soon be finished, along with electric conduits, plumbing systems, and other internal components.

While the base for the roof has been completed, the metal roof will be installed this April along with a sprinkler system, ceilings, flooring, and bathroom fixtures.

Work on the outside wall & roof of the Recreation and Wellness Center has been completed. Construction crews are currently working on replacing interior walls, garage doors, and other updates.

Remaining exterior site work such as sidewalks, the service drive and final grading will begin this month as well. The construction of the pond and streamscape located in front of the nature center is also scheduled to start in early April.
