Rising Above the Prairie
Work on the nature center’s foundation wall is still in process, and it is slowly rising above the surrounding prairie hills at Jester Park. Underground utility work is currently taking place before the lower level floor is poured.
Exciting final details for the environmental exhibits are being completed by Split Rock Studios! We can’t wait to see what the finished products will look like! We are also deciding on the types of equipment and furnishings that will fill the nature center.
Work on the Outdoor Recreation and Wellness Center exterior will begin soon, along with the improvements that will be needed for the inside of the building.
Even though it doesn’t look like much has happened since July, we are right on track to finish the Jester Park Nature Center by summer 2018!
